Biking from Amsterdam to Brugge Belgium this summer, we passed many fields, most of which had sheep or horses quietly grazing in green fields.  The days were usually cloudy, but some sun shone through.  I thought about the calm of these animals, oblivious to what might befall them in the future, living their best life in the present.
